Filet mingion melted in your mouth and was cooked to perfection. Snapper over lobster risotto was delicious. View of the marina was lovely. Wonderful keylime pie for desert finished the meal and we left happy campers.

Beautiful location on the water. Outdoor dining experience excellent Staff very courteous. Ordered a steak medium to medium well and it was beyond well done when it arrived. When I first cut into it it did appear to be pink, albeit, light pink inside, however, after it sat for a moment all the pink disappeared and it was a very well done steak that lost its flavor. As a bone in rib eye one would expect much more flavor and tenderness than was received. To be honest it wasn't worth the price paid.

Wonderful food and service.
Food was good and the service could have been better. Had a reservation and arrived 10 minutes early only to be told that we needed to wait for our table. While we waited there were other guests that arrived after us were seated before us at empty tables. Additionally, the staff could be more friendly. Perhaps I am writing this type of review because it is off season? Service left much to be desired.
Great food, the steak, swordfish, and fried green tomatoes were delicious.

This was our 3rd visit to Ela's. We keep coming back every visit to HHI, because the food, scenery and service are all great. I had the scallops, and my wife had the stuffed salmon. Both meals were really really good. The portion of scallops was on the small side - about 3.6 scallops (one must have broken off in the pan and been lost). The only issue we had was a fly kept buzzing our table for a few minutes during the meal, but eventually it went away.
