Ela's was excellent! The food was fresh and well prepared. A great spot for parents looking for a higher end meal with the kids in tow. Next time in Hilton Head we will be back at Ela's!

First the restaurant was well kept. Great view of the inlet, boats moving in and out. everyone's meal was very good and I only gave a 4 on food because I thought the Flounder was a little overcooked. Everyone else has a terrific meal and my wife's grouper was great (better than flounder). Food presentation was great also. Jason, a USC grad, was a terrific server. Prices were reasonable to us, but I like good food and wine. We all felt we would come back next trip to HHI

The crab cake appetizer was the best and most unique we've ever had. All of our entrees were also delicious. I had the grouper, my husband had the seared tuna and my son had the stuffed flounder. They were all perfectly prepared. Also, service was excellent. Our waitress was knowledgeable and attentive. We were pleased with everything! It was a great dining experience!

We came in from Richmond Hill, an hour and half for Fathers Day. The service was Excellent and the food was good. Bloody Mary's awesome. We asked for a window view of the water. Only half of the table (5) was able to see the view and what we did see was a corner. Iew of the water. Nice but not great...this was the entire reason for us coming...this view that's advertised. There were highlights for this meal for sure. The server was excellent, finding the right mix of attentive service without being intrusive. The bread before the meal melted in your mouth. The crème brulee was among the best we've ever had as was the espresso. But the reason you go to a restaurant is the main course. My grouper was just ok. We made reservations on-line for 8:30 but arrived early at 8 and our table was ready. We were seated outside on the wrap-around deck, right at the corner, which provided a nice view in both directions, not to mention the good breeze. Our waiter arrived immediately and brought very good hushpuppies. We ordered an appetizer of Shrimp and grits that was pretty good, but not great, but the shrimp (4) were large. As for the good fine for us. This was a special evening out from my wife and I and we had a wonderful time. The food was great, the service is great, and the view is great as well. We will be back.

We went to Ela's on the advice of a friend. It was a very good dining experience. The location, next to a marina is beautiful. Many people reserve outdoor seating but we did not. Not a big deal for us. The food was very good...reasonable portions...not gigantic if that's your thing. The service was friendly, timely and thoughtful like soda refills for our son. Definitely will go back.
