Food was delicious!! Couldn't sit outside due to the rain but sat by a window to see the Harbour
We've been going here for years, and it seems the quality of the dishes has been cheapened while the price has stayed the same. For example, the lobster bisque used to come with a few chunks of lobster meat, but now there is none. Also, the truffle fries used to have more truffle oil and some green flakes of seasoning, now there is very little truffle oil and no green seasoning. I was disappointed.
Manager Lynn was terrific, everywhere helping and supervising staff and greeting diners. Saxophone player fabulous. More people should go Sunday nights to hear him.
The staff and the food were fantastic. The moment we arrived they were very welcoming and attentive. This was our first time and and greatly appreciated a table overlooking the marina. They had a great brunch menu with several specialty items and I would strongly recommend trying one of the specialty items, you will not be disappointed.
Restaurant seems average with a decent view. Seems slightly run down - cracked booth, low dropped ceiling. Food was good but not great - pretty average. Service was slow! And waitstaff seemed disinterested- did not sell the restaurant. We wouldn't go again, there are numerous better fine dining options on Hilton Head. Or go to a chain for 1/2 the price and the same quality.
Great food and plenty of choices. A little noisy.
Excellent Halibut main course but the accompanying sides were not up to the standard of the Halibut. The cheese course was far from artisanal, more like block cheese from the supermarket.
Very good dinner during our one week vacation on Hilton Head Island. Nice atmosphere eand view of the marina.
The food, service, ambience and waterfront view are always excellent; this is our third time dining at Ela's and we always have a wonderful time.
