Fantastic upscale option to get away from tourist traps and enjoy a great meal, solid and well priced wine selection and service that does not leave you feeling like they were trying to push you out the door. Well worth the visit.
I have gone to this restaurant numerous times and usually walk away loving my meal. I ordered the surf and turf special and it was good but nothing to brag about. I felt like I could prepare that same meal at home. Believe when you are going to a restaurant of that caliber expect a little bit more. Still a favorite restaurant and will definitely go back.
Awesome service. Very prompt and attentive. Tuna tartare was perfect. Quality of tuna was impecible. Excellent presentation and paired nicely with the wasabi mayo. Beef carpaccio was awesome and prepared perfectly. Outdoor seating is a must. Eating just above the marina, the ambiance is perfect and relaxing.
The service was very good (thank you Julie!) on a hot, crowded night! 4th of July week,and everyone was at Shelter Cove, but still....the food at Ela's was very good, and the service was great!
'This is a lovely restaurant, we booked for the Fourth of July as we hand a handicapped person and wanted a good view of fireworks. The food is outstanding but the portions are very small for the price
Elas needs a makeover. Food was fair. Cocktail received with a moldy strawberry. Service was great.
It was only noisy because of the beautiful fire works. The table setting-beautiful, the decor, and the overall look and feel was just romantic. The food was superb! You must try the fried green tomatoes and the lobster. I didn't like the taste of the water (probably because I'm not from here) and the tea was not already sweetened.
Coming from out of town like so many others, recent reviews were an important part of our decision to make a reservation. While the decor isn't brand new and the ambience is not as trendy as other options in HHI, the food was outstanding. Our server was attentive. I would definitely recommend dining here.
Food , Service and ambiance was top notch. Since, I eat clean without any spices asked for the tuna grilled and to substitute a mixed vegetable for the accompaniments. I was told this was a $8 up charge on a $32 entree. I decided against that and asked for the linguine that was being served with the salmon. I was told this was a $4 up charge.
