Reserved through Open Table, but when we arrived, they would not let us sit outside without an hour wait. Was very disappointed. Older crowd.
Great setting and atmosphere. Wonderful Meal. Staff just attentive enough Definitely make a second trip. Chefs specials are fantastic

Had lunch on 4/29/14. Ate inside (a bit breezy outside.) Very nice view of harbor and inlet from marsh. Had the fish tacos (made with swordfish.....very good.) Also had fresh lemonade/iced tea (Arnold Palmer)....also VERY good. Hard to rate kitchen since luncheon menu was a bit limited. But liked what we saw. Would go back.
The restaurant is upstairs and has a beautiful deck overlooking the water and boat docks. We were greeted right away and had a lovely table. The service was attentive but not overbearing. The food offerings were lovely. Nicely plated and the server was knowledgeable about the food. I had the Grouper. Perfect!! Beautiful crust and and perfect temperature. We ate brunch at Ela's. Food and drink were excellent, service was not attentive. Didn't really welcome us very well, offered us the smallest table although many were available (but did let us change), needed to have check adjusted as they still had register programmed for Easter weekend prices. Food and outdoor seating were great. They could work on some friendliness and some happiness to improve the experience.
Food was superb. Service was top-notch. Will definitely be back to Ela's.
Great views, great food, great staff and All around one if the best in HH island.
Our party of 6 sat outside on a cool evening ... Had me a little worried -but the heaters were great and we were comfy all night. Food was fantastic -recommend the grouper on the menu! We had a 7 pm res ... Sat outside and watched the sun set while eating and drinking with my family :). That's living well! Waiter did rush us which i didn't appreciate .. We ignored him.
