Beautiful setting. A little out of the way but great views, No specials on a Friday y night? "Everything is special" the waiter kept saying. Well, nice company line but poor excuse for not having a real chef, and with a limited menu you need to have specials to get people back after luring them in the first time.. Best tuna appetizer I ever had however. Meals? Small and expensive. A one and done until somebody who knows how to manage a restaurant takes over. Waiter was slow and MIA.
This is second time to eat here and we will go back. Sit outside for a great view of the Shelter cove Harbour. Good Food, Good Service, and great view. Whatelse could you want. Bartender makes a great Old Fashion with Makers Mark
An unfortunately rare Hilton Head restaurant: great food with a water view. I had a halibut and my my spouse scallops: generous and portions and tasty. Excellent service, although a bit expensive; essentially no entries under $30 and pricey appetizers, but worth it. Service was outstanding and enjoy sitting on Shelter Cove Harbor. Outside deck great if weather cooperates.
Wonderful experience. Went with the girls for lunch and loved it so much I went back the next day for dinner with my boyfriend.
This place is by far our favorite restaurant on the island, came here last year for dinner and had an amazing time, and once again ELA,s delivered on another perfect end to our vacation... The views, setting, and FOOD are simply stunning and absolutely the best on the island. They had a 20 minute wait this time, but we of course didn't mind having a drink in the bar, seems like others are catching on to ELA's charm... So happy for this place and HIGHLY recommend to everyone!!!!!
Friendly atmosphere, excellent food & service, picturesque waterfront dining. ELA'S has never disappointed.
Beautiful views and great atmosphere. A promising menu. The food was good but not exceptional considering the price. We went on a Monday and there were no Chef specials and they were out of their signature dessert which was pretty disappointing. Our overall experience was good despite the service we got from out waitress who was competent, but had no personality and made it clear that she did not want to be working that night. Only problem was price was too high for quantity of food.
Very good meal and service. Reasonable wine list. Try to get a seat outside for the harbor view.
