My wife and I chose Ela's for our anniversary dinner and were very pleased. As vegetarians, the food choices were limited but between the salads, appetizers and sides we found several things to try. The fried green tomatoes and garlic bread were excellent. The seasonal veggies and wild mushroom risotto were pretty good, too. We travel to HH 6at least 6 times a year. 7/8/ was our first visit to ELA'S . The food was great. Don't miss this spot.
ELA"s is located in one of prettiest spots on Hilton Head Island. Shelter Cove Harbor with all the boats and views out to waterfront views of Broad Creek. Their calamari is unique and very good. Everyone had seafood that was cooked perfectly and great presentation. Service was professional and paced well to allow us time to re-connect with friends we had not seen in a while.
We throughly enjoyed our dining experience at Ela's. Our waitress Francesca did a fab job making sure we were well looked after and gave good advice regarding the menu. We would 100% recommend this resaturant...the food is excellent and the view charming.
It was a fantastic view, good ambience...live guitar music drifting from bar as you view the boats coming into the harbor. The food was good, but not outstanding and it was pricey. We've had better meals at other fine dining restaurants in Hilton Head.
The highlight of this visit was our view of Shelter Cove Marina. The food was good, but not great. Our server made several mistakes and didn't seem very knowledgeable.
Have been to Ela's 5 times and have enjoyed each and every time. Have recommended to several people who have also enjoyed dining there.
The question was asked if I would recommend this restautant. Well, I already have! I wrote on my Facebook page about it & said that if anyone is coming to HHI, to go to this restaurant!
We were a bit disappointed in the rather limited brunch menu, but the appetizers and entrees listed did offer a fair variety of options. The food was creative and well presented. The indoor dining room is very well decorated and very inviting. The outdoor dining area is arranged well and is furnished well. We had a nice experience.
