Happy with carpet! But the contractors that installed my carpet, that’s a different story. Missing a collectors item which went to a set that was 48 years old. Also, they have issues with urinating in a toilet and I had piss on my bathroom floor.
Ordered too much tile, did kithen but decided same tile would not work in bath, got stuck with 90 sq. Foot tile and sherlock would not take it back. Every store ive ever been to will taje back if you over order. Id go elsewhere for tile.
We had a terrible experience with Sherlock Carpet. They are very unprofessional and their carpet is poor quality. We had carpeting installed 3 times in less than two years. The carpeting keeps wearing out in spots. We were told this was because of the vacuum we used. The spot where the carpet wore out is not even where the carpeting would get vacuumed. Stopped at Sherlock's Orland Park store this afternoon looking for a Karastan stair runner. I was virtually ignored by the sales person. I guess that my relatively small purchase (maybe $1000.00) was just not worth his time--oh well, never again will I step foot in that store.
CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS STORE IS HORRID. WENT INT THE STORE ON 10-2-17 TO PICK UP CARPET SAMPLES FOR MY HOME. I HAD TO GIVE MY CREDIT NUMBER TO THE SALESMAN BEFORE TAKING THE SAMPLES. I WAS TOLD THHEPERSONWHO WAITED ON ME WAS "TOM."I RETURNED THE SAMPLES ON 10-5-17 AND ASKED FOR THE PAPERWORK BACK THAT HAD MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER ON IT. I WAS TOLD BY "JERRY" THAT HE WOULD LOOK FOR IT AND MAIL IT TO ME. AS OF TODAY, 10-12. I DIDNT GET THE PAPER WORK SO I WENT INTO THE STORE AND TALKED TO JERRY. only took 2 weeks from the time we ordered till install was done !!!!
Had 1800 sq ft of hardwood in stalled and guaranteed for 25 years. At about 19 years the flooring started to fail. I was told to bad for me and nothing could be done. I have been a repeat customer many time and spent lots of money. When you have a problem. TO BAD 😡😡😡
I would NEVER do business with this carpet company again! John was great at first but boy once they get your money....who cares when you get your carpet and extra pieces that are to be bound on site!! I feel sorry for all the elderly people that buy....if they get screwed as bad as I did and the service I got.... by the time their carpet is ready for installing, they will have one foot in the grave!
