Phone the dealership service department with a question got an answering machine that told me to leave my name and number and they would call back they never did
Was OK, however, I am not a fan of recommending work that is not necessary: Brake cleaning as there was a bit of rust on the disk. Seriously, if there is an issue that needs to be dealt with I want to hear about it. What I do not want to hear about is useless maintenance such as cleaning the rust off the edge of the disk. That is a normal situation after winter driving in Alberta. Everything else was good, attentiveness, timeliness, friendliness etc. Shame that the service advisor adds a "make work" item to the list.
The mileage for our oil change was incorrectly recorded, leaving us only 2000 km until the next oil change was required. Attempts to contact a service person by phone were unsuccessful. When the car went back in for a warranty service it was brought to the attention of the service people and was corrected. The car was not washed as expected, with no explanation. The service was good the day of the oil change. I was on the highway the next day and a piece from the bottom of the car fell and was dragging. I had to have a stranger stop to help me wire tire it back up to alley w me to get where I was going (I was out of town). This experience has shaken my trust a bit with the service department. I went in for my regular servicing on my2017 murano. I had purchased a service contract which cover, so I thought, all regular scheduled maintainence. Much to my surprise part of the regular maintainence is having my brake fluid flushed every 16000k and it is not covered by my service contract. That will be 150 bucks every second time I go in it I could void my warrenty. It’s a scam and I very unhappy with the whole thing
Very difficult to get an answer to book an appointment to have tires changed after Winter season. Very little flexibility with regards to times, days, etc.
I am not sure you can. When we went to book our service one of the things we wanted to have addressed was the navigation system wasn't current. Service couldn't help us, unless we paid the $130 to have the system updated, so we purchased a new vehicle that wasn't current. We arrived for our service appointment after a 2.5 hour drive to be told there was no shuttle or courtesy vehicle we could use.
