It all began in 1993, when two local boys in Gulf Shores, Alabama decided to open up a casual family-focused seafood restaurant on the Gulf Coast. The idea was to create a restaurant where people would feel welcome to be themselves, families could afford to dine out together and strangers would leave as friends. Fast service. Reasonable prices. Would have gave it 5 stars but when I was walking through the parking lot to leave, another customer was coming out of their parking spot and scared me very bad. They backed out and gunned their vehicle where the tires squealed. I had my 8 yr old daughter with me and literally shoved her towards our vehicle to get out of the way. The popcorn shrimp and the hush puppies are so delicious. We ate here twice on our vacation. They also offer all you can eat popcorn shrimp one or two times a week and all you can eat fish. We were very pleased with the service and the food. Can’t wait till next time!!!😎
Food was GREAT! The wait for food was a tad long but to be fair, it was Friday evening.....and I might add, well worth it! If you’re looking for excellent seafood; give Shrimp Basket a try.
Best shrimp ever! 🍤🍤🍤 All you can eat shrimp! The potato salad was so good! Now our favorite place to go! Our waitress was great! Going back for dinner tonight!
We ate there tonight and it was amazing! There was five in our party...no wait, great food and SUPER service! We will definitely make this a place to eat every time we come to Panama City!
I'm secretly in love with KJ. She is a great server. The hospitality here is top notch.
I love the Shrimp Basket anywhere I go but last week, the service and food were outstanding! My dad and I had lunch here and Heather, our server, was absolutely the best EVER! Every member of the staff we came in contact with were friendly and helpful even the manager came over to check on everything. 2 thumbs up, 5 stars, 2 high fives, all the good things for this Shrimp Basket!
