Thank you Charlie B for your posting. I'm sorry you had this experience. My mother who is in treatment for the first time is still there with a DC date of next week. I am in the field of mental health and substance abuse and referred her there. She has had the WORST treatment I have ever encountered. Sierra Tucson is a joke. It is a terrible facility and the counselors are clueless. My wife (now exwife), went to the facility for Bipolar disorder. In addition, she was cheating on me. When I attended for "family week" they had labeled her as depressed and "love addicted." However, they allowed her boyfriend to talk to her on the phone and also send her cards, letters and flowers -- all while my daughter and I were there for the week to be supportive and helpful.
