I paid for silencer in July of 2022. Almost two years later I still have not received the silencer I paid for. What are my options for refund? Great business model to take your money and not provide product as promised. Horrible and dishonest way to do business
If you have a suppressor ordered from Silencer Central and its not the Banish line and they have told you its back ordered you should call the company and ask if they are really on backorder. I ordered a Energetic Armament Nyx Mod-2 and Silencer Central kept pushing their Banish line. Poor products, terrible customer service. I own several of their products and have found them to be poorly made. What's worse is their customer service. I needed warranty work on a suppressor. It took over 40 days and numerous emails/phone calls to get a response. Wait times on phone calls averaged a half hour. They finally received my silencer for repair and estimated a 2-3 week turnaround. It's now going on week 9 and not a word. I've been without my suppressor for nearly 4 months. Just called to cancel order and was told they would keep 25% for cancelling and issue 75% back in a gift card. They should let you know that up front. Just bad customer service
Beware, this company is unresponsive once they have been paid. i"ve made two orders with this company. One was a suppressor with all the pieces parts - suppressor, cleaning tools, adapter, etc, and it was shipped Dec 8 (this month). It lists an adapter for my rifle which was not included in the box (the shipping invoice actually shows 5 items shpped, only 4 listed on the invoice, and actually only 3 of the listed parts shipped.) Do not buy from this company! I ordered a small threaded adapter. Something that should ship without delays. No paperwork is required (I ordered the same thing from a different company and got it 2 days later). After 2 weeks of waiting for this adapter I decided to try to get ahold of this company. Horrible customer service. Order two suppressors and paid for in full. Keep being told they will ship and nothing has shipped. Going on 3 weeks and the tracking has not changed. Just states waiting on shipper. Every time I call they come up with a new excuse or reason why they can’t or haven’t shipped.
Mike seemed very knowledgeable and helpful, but he absolutely failed to mention in two phone calls the long ATF wait time to get a silencer. I feel that this information should be "featured" from the very start. I knew very little about silencers, including the approval process, when I originally contacted Silencer Central. Been calling Silencer Central since January requesting a refund because my ATF form 4 came back disapprove, they said they will put in a request for the refund and should receive a refund check in 7-10 days, waited two to three weeks and called back again but every time I called in to ask about the refund they said the refund been request and I get the same answer you will get a refund check in the mail 7-10 days....I'm still waiting for my refund check, I'm tired of calling in because I keep getting the same answer.
