My appointment was at 3:30PM. I was told to arrive at 3PM to check in. It was almost 6PM when I was finally called for my MRI and I was walking out the door about 6:30PM. Three hours late! I talked briefly to 2 of the technicians working at Simon. They both said that running late by 3 hours happened almost daily. This poor performance is not acceptable to either patients or employees!
I arrived 20 minutes early for my appointment after drinking 32 ounces of water for my ultrasound preparation. Knowing that I had a very full bladder, they let me wait over an hour to have my ultrasound. They said it was because they had to check on my insurance benefits, but I had submitted the information at the time I made the appointment three weeks ago and again the day before online. They were not rude, but just did not care. No professionalism at the front desk, but the technician was great.
They do not make appointments for”regular x rays”, you have to wait . Their standard is 2 hours. I needed a spine x ray that takes 5 min. Didn’t care that I had had surgery. I left after an hour, because another person waiting had been there over 2 hrs.
Arrived at 7:15 for appointment and found a waiting room with patients waiting but NO office staff!! One technician who was pleasant but not able to do anything until office staff shows up. She said they were 2 hours behind and haven’t seen a patient yet. Total lack of communication. But I got automated text to remind me to be on time! Lol
The lady doing the mammogram was very curt. She could have been more gentle when pushing & pulling on my breasts.
Dr sent order for x-ray, received text confirmation from SM with # to call for appt, called and message said x-rays are walk-in only, drove to QC location and sign on door said no x-rays today, called QC at 2:45 to see if they’d have x-rays next day and got message saying to call back during business hours, didn’t say what those hours are, checked online for another location and found AJ office would have x-rays from 7 am to 8 pm next day, went to AJ office next day at 7 and was told x-rays don’t start until 8:30, mentioned ... read more
Impossible to contact by phone
When appointment was scheduled I could not understand the person I was trying to talk to. I was finally scheduled for 11:30 appointment. Was not seen until 12:45.
Girls at the front desk were rude. I had signed in and remembered that they had copied my images of previous X-rays and I was to pick them up that day. When I went up to desk to ask for them,the girl said get back in line,I’m busy. She had them in a drawer next to her,and did not want to bother. When I got in the room for my MRI, I told the lady I needed to have something to cover my eyes,as I was claustrophobic.
