You cannot get an xray scheduled. They will only do walk-ins for xrays. But that typically means you will have to wait way too long (two hours or more based on my experience) to finally get in. Happened to me again today. I expressed that concern at the front desk, and the gal said not to worry, she would get me in. I promptly received two texts saying I was scheduled...blah, blah. I was overcharged $218 for a procedure. I contacted them to get my refund (long process) and they said they would issue me a check. I received the check 7 months later. I tried to deposit it and it was stale dated. I then had to get my check back from the bank to send back to Simonmed. It has now been 3 months and I still havent received another check. My fiance went there Jan 2023. They told him he had $100 deductible. He paid it that day. In April 2023, he had not seen an *** for the service so he called his insurance who called Simon Med. The Insurance told them they needed to file the claim. So Simon Med finally did. The *** reflected that there was Zero out of pocket cost. So My fiance called the billing department again May 2023They said they would credit his credit card( the one he paid with). It would take ***** business days. Have been working on getting a claim properly submitted to my insurance for OVER 7 MONTHS NOW. billing ***** Over and over is NO HELP. NO SUPERVISORS. Not even in this country! No follow up when told supervisor would. Hung up on, transferred to wrong departments, total lack of any due process in the billing ***** I paid for a procedure out of pocket instantly as there was risk of brain bleed and didn't wait for pre-Auth. Deserve no stars! SMI Imaging has very poorly running systems all the way around. I informed them prior to my procedure that I did not have a co-pay for the imaging. They insisted I pay a $50.00 co-pay before my imaging would be performed. I paid the $50.00. My imaging was completed on November 3, 2022. I received a refund check on November 16, 2023. you did not read that wrong, over one year after the procedure. Unfortunately, the check was written on May 2, 2023, a full 6 months after the imaging. Im just another victim of their theft of money! They demanded money up front for services when they were NOT entitled to it! They way overcharged **( per our insurance ***** and never offered an apology or a refund! I had to call them and demand my refund! Thieves!!! Well see if I ever get a refund. Checks in the mail I also notified the *** of their business practices and will also notify the Attorney General as well as attorneys for a class action suit against Simon Med Imaging.

I made an app for my second mammogram for 12.19.23 at ***** telling them that I had my first app at ************************** but it needs to be done again. I filed out the form on my computer and went there. They gave me another form to fill up and finely the lady said that that they can't see me because they don't have the previous image and she made another app for 01.09.24 at *****. I WAS CHARGED FOR XRAY, WHICH MY INSURANCE COVERS AT 100%, BUT SINCE IT WAS A SATURDAY, WE COULD NOT CALL *********** SIMON MED HAS BEEN SENT PAYMENT BY ********** AND I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO GET MY REFUND BACK FOR MORE THAN TWO MONTHS. ALL THEY TELL ME IS THAT IT IS BEING PROCESSED....

Still trying to receive a refund from July 2023. Was charged my "estimated" coinsurance of $1100.00 for a thyroid scan to be performed. Insurance claims submitted twice to my insurance carrier showed I was only responsible for $192.00. SimonMed then sent me an invoice for that amount. I called them stating I had the receipt that they charged me $1100.00 on the day of the exam and expected a refund not an invoice for any amount due.
