Made appointment in plenty of time for my follow up doctor appointment. Day before appointment got an 8 am phone message. They had questions about payment. I called back 45 minutes later and left a message with all necessary information. Made child care arrangements and showed up for my appointment the next day. They had cancelled my appointment with out a phone call!!! Had to reschedule for the next week. That also got cancelled but at least they called me first. After my orders were received by SimonMed I received an invite to schedule via text message. I scheduled, completed paperwork and received confirmations. After preparing for the appointment, upon arrival I was informed that they did not perform the procedures on the weekend. The admin. apologized and advised that they were not sure why you are able to schedule online even though certain procedures are not performed on the weekend. Completely incompetent. Called their scheduling number a month ago to schedule an MRI. Both times I was told they hadn’t received it after my doctors office confirmed they had sent it twice. Spoke again to the scheduling unit. The male employee called over and received verbal information from my doctor and scheduled me for my exam. I received emails and texts regarding my appointment. Simon Med did not call my insurance for authorization for a CT scan due to not having the contact information although they were given the number at the time I scheduled the appointment. Nor did they contact me to get the number. I called them the day of my appointment because I had not heard from them in regards to my authorization. Not worth rating. When you call to make an appointment, the prompt encourages you to go online to schedule if you don’t have time to wait on hold for someone. The first time I called, I placed myself on hold, the voice prompt let me know my wait would be 4 minutes, 10 minutes later I am still on hold, so I decided to try and schedule my appointment online. Went to Spectrum Simon Med today for a TB X-Ray- waited about 75 minutes (told it would be 30-40 minutes) and it was so packed people were standing- not only was social distancing not an option; the chairs (plastic) were not wiped down after individuals sat in them and then exit for appointment- this is honestly the most unsanitary place I have been to since March. My appointment was at the Spectrum location and there was absolutely NO social distancing taking place. The office was over crowded and nobody said anything about it. No temp checks, no questions being asked, and way too many people in a very small space. I asked to speak to the office manager and she was not available. I had an appointment at 3:30, arrived at 3:15 and waited over an hour until I finally asked if I had been forgotten. There were only 2 others left in the waiting area. I realize it was busy & they were running behind, but I thought the wait was too long & wondered why people who came after me we’re taken ahead of me.
