It is hard to explain how Skyland Trail makes miracles happen. They Saved My Life and helped me become the person I am meant to be. I am stronger than I have ever been in my entire life. Skyland Trail is Wonderful, and I truly appreciate everything everyone did for me. I wasn't so easy to deal with all the time, but everyone knew just what I needed to hear. I highly recommend them to You.

I've dealt with depression and PTSD as long as I can remember. I've been in talk therapy and taking psychotropic meds most of my adult life. In my early 50s, I was pounded with work and relationship-related stress that caused me to go into a suicidal spiral. I was a successful professional, yet I grew hopeless and tired of the cycle of endless series of challenges and rebounds. The Skylanders Trail staff, other clients, classes, and individualized counseling helped break the cycle and gave me focus I was looking for.

I will be honest. When I first walked through the doors of Skyland Trails I did not think I needed to be there. I walked out able to identify my issues and take ownership of my behaviours and actions. I now know what my disability is and how to function with a . Yes there are bad days and I have skills to conquer those road bumps life hands me today. Thank you to my team who did not give up on me! I am blessed to have you in my tool kit still to this day!
