Our experience with Smith Douglas has been a roller coaster. We have been lied to by an agent at a model, threatened to be sued, and some people were impossible to reach and did not communicate effectively with my agent. I had to go to the home weekly because I constantly found things that were broken or wrong and I strongly believe if I hadn't pointed them out, they wouldn't have been caught until it was going to be a MUCH more expensive or too late to fix. We purchased two homes from Smith Douglas and have had nothing but problems with the construction from the beginning. There was a complete lack of project management, construction expertise, and quality workmanship. had it not been for my own realtor and the Smith Douglas sales management team, we wouldn't have gotten anything close to what we paid for.
I am incredibly disappointed with Smith Douglas Homes because I did not get the home that I was promised. Many things were not done as they said they should be done and I would never recommend Smith Douglas Homes to anyone.
