We were told incorrect information throughout the build. As closing approached and the landscaping and side yard clearing was not done we were given a letter by Smith Douglas at closing that it would be complete within seven days of our closing (October 27th). It is now January 13 and we have construction debris, unremoved brush, sod that was never rolled, and other items promised (and legally contracted to fulfill). Quality of construction does not match the price point
There is a leak in the garbage disposal. have reported this to the company. I have not There are small details that I have noticed.
The house that was built for us was either done so quick that the builders didn't care about Quality or the builders really just don't care about Quality. There are several details that you don't notice in a walk through but are apparent after looking. The land the house was built on is terrible, we are basically in a bowl.
I went into my home buying experience singing your praises but was sadly disappointed with overall experience and outcome.
Due to the continuous changing of plans, the lack of communication throughout as far as me requesting certain things. There were some drainage issues that have not been resolved yet.
