bad experience did not like the experience, the guys who packed me were fine but broke some things and told me incorrectly what the extra hourly rate would be. Finally, they stranded me in El Paso. They gave me no indication as to when they were taking the payment out of my bank so on my trip to San Antonio, they took out over $500 from my account stranding me in El Paso until I could transfer other money and when I called them asking them to not take it out for two more days they would not budge and did not care at all th... read more
Ok service. Not great I thought the service was overpriced. I paid for an extra hour bc workers were slow and loaded all the furniture last. Had I known this I would of loaded everything else first. I believe this is a trick bc they know that's the whole reason they were hired.
Great Experience! I had a great experience. The crew were on time, very fast, professional, and exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend SML.
Saved on old mans back I used the labor force for both the loading and unloading of a 26' moving van. Everyone that I dealt with was very professional and did the job very well. The packers and un-packers used great care to make sure everything was no damaged during the move.
Super team They came on time - did the move in a timely way and no damage.
Very hard workers They had a harder time than usual. They could not put the ramp down. So they brought everything out of the truck the hard way.
A mixed bag We hired SML for both loading and unloading in 2 different cities. Loading in DFW I would give 2 stars. We paid for two hours, and after four hours of loading from a 3 bedroom apartment we dismissed the 2 guys because they still weren't done loading and finished ourselves. They were very slow and did more thinking about where to put things than actually doing it. The unloading in El Paso I'd give 5 stars. These two young guys were hard workers with a great attitude and got the job done in 3 hours.
Awesome!!!! Wonderful experience! This is the second time we've used SML and Penske and once again it was an awesome experience! Both crews were polite and considerate, very professional. I think the movers could probably lift double their weight they are amazing!!! And SML and Penske were with us thru the whole process making sure everything was going smoothly and on time. I can't say enough about how wonderful these people are......totally awesome!!!!
Mix up in timing When I booked your service I told the rep. that I wanted the movers to appear at 12:30. They did not appear until close to 3.. I reread the contract and realized that I had signed for a 12-2 window. The rep did not explain the window., The movers were great and loaded the truck in under 2 hrs.. Because of the delay, we had to unload in the dark and just finished before the storage facility closed..
