Great Job Great moving service. Customer service representatives were in constant contact with me from beginning to end and quickly answered my questions and concerns. Movers were on time, professional and courteous.

The SML people we got in Arizona to load the moving truck were horrible. They loaded metal items ontop of antique furniture that ruined the finish as well as several items that were damaged and a closet where the hinges were broken off and cant be replaced. The SML people that we got in Centralia were very good and could not believe how the truck was loaded. I will not finish this until I get my claim processed for the damage to the antique furniture and other damage that was done because of improper loading. I did have a... read more

Workers were courteous and professional! Workers arrived on time with necessary equipment and a smile! They worked very hard to move us in a timely and professional manner! They abided by all the rules of the association and completed the move without any damage! I would highly recommend them to family and friends!

Good movers I booked through the rental truck company. This company is more expensive than others. They showed up, did the work very well and left. It was a good, but expensive, experience.

California to Idaho SML contacted us through our renting a vehicle to make our move via Penske. They helped make the entire process lots easier. On the packing/loading end there were several items that could have been done a bit better, however, nothing broke on our move! The two "guys" that helped unload were top notch. Experienced, well mannered, and they helped us get settled in a timely manner. We'd hire them again in a New York minute!

Overpriced While everyone was very pleasant, especially Ebony in St. Louis, I found the cost to be much higher than other options for assistance with loading and unloading. Added to that, a few times they didn't listen to my specific request/direction and I ended up having to move the heavy items myself. Lastly, I didn't like signing for the ''no damage" before I had a chance to see all the scratches and dings that were not there when the moving process started.

Overall good experience I used SML crews on both ends of the move, and on both ends I was really happy about how they handled all the stuff, ensuring nothing was damaged. On the loading end, the crew arrived about 20 minutes outside the hour time window buffer, and I thought the communication about their timing could have been better. But those guys did a great job loading without causing any damage to anything. Hard working and focused I asked for a difficult truck load and the SML crew came through. We had a little damage but 2300 miles can do that. Overall a good experience.

Good Service overall First loading crew in Chicago was great. They moved fast and got all our stuff into the truck. The loaders definitely had some experience. The unloading crew in Chicago was just okay. They took their time and even had a cigarette break. Overall I am glad they did the heavy lifting but I think they needed to be more professional and less shady.
