Get directionsWe are so grateful to Doctor Davies, Kayla and the other angels at SOVSC, who ushered our Rufus Aloysius through double TPLO surgery. We were terribly unsure of the wisdom of our decision to elect such formidable surgery, but Doctor Davies’ confidence in the outcome guided us through, and he was right! Thank you, sir, for all the work and study that went into your skilled hands. Rufus has got the swing and swagger back in his walk.
Business response:
Thank you for your generous feedback, Claire! We will let Dr. Davies and his team know that we have renamed them the Swing and Swagger Savers! Truthfully, it means the world to us to receive such heartfelt feedback. We thank you for your trust and hope that Rufus will enjoy his rebuilt knees for many, many years to come!
Outstanding care provided to my bulldog during her stay. The clinic and Dr's provided multiple updates throughout her stay and communicated with me thoroughly. They made every effort to comfort me and make it easy for me to visit her. Every interaction with the staff was pleasant. Thank you for taking care of my girl SOVSC!!!
Business response:
Thank you for your kind compliments, Tresa! We love visits from you and your family and appreciate you trusting us with your pet’s care.
4 years ago we brought home a pure bred Jack Russell Terrier who we named Fudgie to help us with all the moles and voles we had in our land. If only we knew what we were getting into… within the first year Fudgie started having digestive problems and some kind of pain attacks. X-rays, blood tests followed by pain killers, anti-inflammatories prescribed by our local vet in Grants Pass did not help. So we ended up at the SOVC. We have been there many week-ends and many nights. We only wished that we lived closer. After a few ... read more
The staff at SOVSC are fantastic and I’m so glad they are available 24 hrs a day for my Fur Babies. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone if you need after hours care for your animals.
Very experienced and helpful.
Our tiny chihuahua started having a seizure on a weeknite after our regular vet was closed. It got very intense and I called SOVSC and they said to bring her right in the Dr. called me within a few minutes of her intake and expressed real concern for her condition. She laid out a plan for testing and treating our little girl that was easy for me to understand and made sense. Over the next day I called several times to check on her condition and each time they were caring and informed. Never was I treated like I was peste... read more
Our sweet Yoda got into trail mix and ate a substantial amount of raisins. We are so thankful for SOVSC, Dr. Arvizo, and Dr. Croley for keeping her safe and healthy💟
Business response:
Thank you for your kind words, Bill Leslie! Please give extra love to Yoda from us. Enjoy the rest of your summer from the staff.
We are very happy with the Dr's and staff at SOVCS. We had to rush our boy Ukko to them in the middle of the night and thought we weren't going to ever be able to bring him home. They saved his life!! after 72 hrs of having to stay there we now have our boy home, and on the mend. We want to thank all of the Dr's and Staff for all of their hard work and keeping him alive, as well as being so professional, and sensitive to our emotions and feelings durning this very difficult time. We are forever greatful.
Our 8 year old Doberman had his right hind leg amputated by Dr. John Davies 4-16-20, because he was the second vet to give a 98% osteosarcoma diagnosis. This was devastating news to us as owners and dog trainers. He is our family dog as well as a decoy dog for other dogs struggling with reactivity and training. Duke has had 4 of 5 chemo treatments with Dr. Kim Winters and is doing great. SOVC staff, Dr. Davies, and reception staff have been awesome throughout our journey. Thank you for all your hard work, even during COVID-1... read more
