RecommendedMy Doberman got attacked by a family member’s dog on Christmas Day and SOVSC was there, even on a holiday. Fortunately they were able to treat her and provide medication for my sweet girl. The staff has always been very accommodating and thorough.

There is a shortage of Veterinarians in our community and we drove about an hour to SOVSC, the nearest clinic, Saturday night. Their staff was amazing! Due to COVID restrictions we waited in the car, which was no big deal. After Moose went inside, the staff called several times with updates -the Vet also called with explanations and next steps. I took my very sick beloved Lucy to this center to be euthanized. This is a group of very comforting people. From our first phone call to arrival they were wonderful. They handled my Lucy in a very caring, gentle way. A very compassionate group"that we appreciated so much in our time of need. Highly recommend!

Our pup broke out in hives on Thursday. We have never experienced this with a pet and grew more and more concerned as his muzzle started to swell. We called SOVSC, and they were very helpful. Once there, they handled our boy with kindness and care. While waiting for updates, I started reading reviews and I almost started to panic worrying about fees and whether he’d be receiving the best care. When our vet in Mount Shasta discovered a heart murmur in our four year old Aussie, she recommended that we take he and his brother to Southern Oregon Veterinarian Center. Dr. Kimberly Winters gave each dog an ecocardiogram and confirmed that they both had enlarged hearts. Both Dr. Winters and Dr. McPherson (Mount Shasta Animal Hospital) had both recently attended seminars where they had learned about potatoes, peas and lentils in dog food being linked to this condition. From my first phone interaction with Hilary, to the check in process, the great communication from both Dr. Weisbart and Dr. Ravi (who both cared for my dog) to the pick up process, my dog was well cared for and in great hands.
