RecommendedI can't say how thankful I am that a well equipped emergency room veterinary hospital like this is available here. Equipment, ER trained vets, surgeons and staff whose specialty is animal emergency and trauma, (not to mention 24hour care) costs money-- no question, so it's not cheap, but they have the same facilities as a human hospital, and when you need that kind of expertise and care-- this is the place to go. I brought my boy in Thursday night for some issues he was having that he’s never had before. I called prior to coming in to make sure he could be seen and just go get some advice. From the moment they answered the phone up until the moment of discharge everyone was so helpful, informative kind and most importantly sweet to my little guy. I was really worried for him but they took such good care of him and walked me through the process of their findings and what course of treatment was best for him. He’s now home and resting.

Had to take my dogs in for chocolate ingestion. Bandit was fine (turns out he didn't eat any of it) but Smokey had to stay because he ate so much. They took great care of him and the ladies and the vets were all so friendly and helpful. Smokey is now home with us recovering with a follow up scheduled with our normal vet but I am SO glad SOVSC was able to take care of my dogs. The doctor spent 20 minutes with us going over our dogs prognosis, options, and treatment. We received great care and compassion and are very comfortable with our pets in their care.
I can’t say thank you enough to this office. My cat became very ill very fast and they did all they could for her but it was her time to go. The support and caring words I received while there was overwhelmingly kind. Thank you for all you guys do. ❤️ I’m glad I chose to bring her there.

Absolutely love everyone here, they took care of my boy, Bane, like he was family. The staff is friendly and always kept me in the loop with Banes treatment. They even put up with all my calls and questions (There was ALOT) regarding his treatment and home care. I wouldn’t recommend anyone but SOVSC! Mr. Bean wouldn’t have lived as long without their expert care! Today he crossed the rainbow bridge. The staff took care of us until the very end.

I cannot say enough good things about SOVSC. We ended up here after our dog got very sick on our road trip. When no other vet in several surrounding areas would take him in, they did. The level of care and compassion that SOVSC provided was unprecedented. Their vets and techs are so knowledgeable and many of the diagnostic equipment needed is right there in house. After 10 days of inpatient care, our really sick guy recovered and is on the mend. My only complaint is that they are in Oregon and I live in CA and cannot take my... read more

Our tiny dog was stung by a bee late in the evening and had a severe reaction. They took her right in, assessed and gave the meds she needed. So very thankful.
