Apparently this clinic provides good service for the "right" customer; however it was a nightmare for me and my dog. I would not recommend it for anyone in a similar situation. You do not get an appointment nor schedule with a particular vet, just show up and see whoever happens to be there.. and wait... and wait...My dog has reactivity issues - and sitting in a LARGE waiting room, FULL to the brim with dogs was torture.. almost 2 hours. I actually thought my dog was being pretty good, considering the situation. But, wh... read more

I hate to say I didn't have a great experience here. They are pretty expensive. You have to wait in the waiting room forever. I'm actually getting hot just explaining my past frustrations.

I was told this was a affordable and reasonably priced vet. Boy were they wrong! I wanted to have my dogs teeth cleaned and they informed me I had to bring him in first for a oral exam to see what needed to be done. So I took him in and the doctor looked in his mouth for about a min. and that was it. A 90sec visit cost me $45. Thus is absolutely absurd to me and I will never go back. Your time is not worth that much doc

If you care about your pet, do not take him/her to this "clinic." It is not in a great neighborhood, but that didn't necessarily bother me. However, when I walked in, I saw that the waiting room was filthy. Urine stains everywhere, and I don't mean a spot here and there, but rather wall-to wall. I took my cat there only because my regular vet was closed, and I thought I should have a vet take a look at him pronto. Yes, it is a walk-in clinic, but I had to wait 1.5 hours and they took two people who checked in after me be... read more

I like the clinic overall. The vet listened to my concerns and was receptive to the fact that I had previously gone to another veterinarian in town and was coming to St. Paul to get another perspective. The staff was generally friendly and they treated my pet with great care. They were very receptive and listened when I spoke about my pet's condition and were willing to listen when I spoke about things I'd already tried. My primary reason for rating this vet so low is that they need to work on their people skills. I am a ma... read more

We had an emergency and since St Paul Vet had great hours and walk-in service, I brought in my dog in who had signs of distress. After signing the payment forms to ok the costs of the x-rays (you have to do this before they do anything common practice I guess but it gets worse) They made the diagnosis and that he needs surgery now. But first here is the cost, 1200 to 1800. Reasonable I admit but again, they need payment BEFORE the surgery can be done. Since I don't use credit cards and I would have to transfer the money to m... read more

Cheap prices=cheap service/results I have been to St. Paul Vet many times and have always gotten mediocore results. The vets give you surface answers untill you fork out more money. My dog has been ill for sometime, and they have yet to pinpoint the cause. I find it funny that everytime they ask for more money, yet I never see results. I advise to never bring your pet there, I am officially finding a new vet.

Wow. I have had a very bad experience with this facility. I took my female dog here to get her spade. The doctor we spoke to when dropping her off was very informative and we left that afternoon feeling positive about our choice. When my fiance picked her up they did not speak to him at all or give him any information about the after care. They did not give us a cone or warn us about anything to watch for. Fast forward four days and her stitch started to come out. No, not stitches but one stitch that they just wound around ... read more
