This place is a joke! Called to see what their hours were days in advance. Was told I could get in any time before 3:30pm. Arrived just before 2pm to find the doors locked. I'll GLADLY take my business elsewhere.
I had the absolute WORST VET EXPERIENCE EVER at St Paul Veterinary Clinic on 27th street in Milwaukee. I will preface by saying that the vet that we normally see there, Dr. Ben, is great. He is the only reason we've given them as many chances as we have. Tonight was the final straw though. I will not go back. Ever. I wish I couldn't even give a star. My dog went in for teeth cleaning and they called and said 8 teeth needed to be removed. I said ok if it was necessary. I asked them not to go over a certain amount and they did. Not only did my dog get 8 teeth pulled but has been sneezing snot all over and they say "bring him in so we can evaluate" He has been having sinus issues ever since then, I hate that place!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! My dog was seen by Dr. Singh whom told us she was fine and nothing was wrong with her. He billed us hundreds and sent us on our way. I called back a couple days later after she wasn't getting better. They acted as if I had never came in to begin with? As if there was no record of me and I was hung up on! I ended up bringing her back in where the receptionist Miranda came from around the desk and got within inches of my mothers face after she refused to sit as if she wanted to fight! The only reason I give this a star is for Jenna, who has seen both my dogs once. She is very helpful and thorough. I came in and said, "I'm hoping to see Jenna today." My younger dog has a sad past with many different owners and since suffers terrible anxiety and nervousness. We are moving from out of state and while transitioning, he needed a new prescription for Prozac, since his ran out during our move. My 7 year old dog DIED UNDER THEIR CARE in the back room after being neutered. I came in to pick up my dog, paid for the services and that my dog would be brought right out. Except ends up my dog was actually dead for some time and they hadnt noticed. I was told he may have overheated. Later also found out they deprived the dog of water, didnt use IV fluids or even set an IV line!!!!!! STANDARD OF CARE IS HORRIBLE!!! St Paul Vet Clinic !!!BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! I have been taking my dogs to St. Paul since they were born. Now age eight and age five I have lost confidence in them due to continuing issues from the staff and long-term incompetence. In this review, I will discuss two issues. Last spring I took my service animal into the vet to get annual shots. The staff charged me over 200 dollars and then gave me the incorrect paperwork when I left. I will never ever take another pet to this vet again. If you bring a pet here make sure you bring cash. They won't provide life saving services unless you pay ahead of time. I had to put my dog down as they would not do a surgary untill I paid before the surgery.
Let me just start by saying if I could give 0 stars, I would. So my foster chihuahua was taken in by a volunteer to see PHIL SOWER. I was informed when she returned that he was screaming at her in a very frustrated way. My foster is about 10-12 years old and VERY nervous so I found this unacceptable.
