We had three people for dinner. Had French onion soup. Panzetta salad, butternut Wellington, shrimp scampi, and one other non memorable dish. Shrimp scampi was good, the butternut wellington almost inedible. The Brussels sprouts in this dish were raw. All three of us ordered desserts. Cheesecake crème brûlée, carrot cake and bread pudding. Bread pudding was the winner here. A solid B.
We like stone creek but a few things were off this last time. We ordered calamari and it was pretty tasteless. We left half of it. The filet was excellent but mashed potatoes were very dry and not hot. The carrot cake was nothing special. The service was a little slow and we had to ask more than once for items because she was so busy handling other tables and a large party. She was very pleasant but overloaded.
Sea bass was not cooked, returned and got house salad which was fine. $40 sea bass taken off my receipt. Thank you. Server was rude and did not seem like she wanted to be working. She was brash and did not want to have any additional conversation or provide help with choices, we were annoying her. Water never refilled nor were we asked if we wanted additional beverages. My husband and I each ordered different entrees. Both were so salty that it was almost on the verge of inedible. We were seated near the kitchen even though we had a reservation and it was very distracting. Bread/soup/salad was excellent. Service was 4 stars. Would have given that a higher rating, but our server reeked of cigarette smoke. We have had enjoyable experiences there in the past, but will not be going back there anytime soon.

Food was average at best and inedible for some. Waitstaff was terrible. Orders wrong and late. No one got their meals at the same time. The whole restaurant felt dirty. It was a real shame. I moved away and just came back and was excited to try this new location and yuck. It was one step above Applebees. :(
