I go to Stone Creek often. No decaf coffee?? Really??There is a Kroger store right across the street. And SC has been out of decaf coffee for a week.
Wife had pasta, very good, son had steak very good, I ordered what I always ordered, campfire fetticine and asked for extra sauce. The waitress misunderstood and told the kitchen to add extra sauce AND extra spices. My dinner was too spicy to eat. She tried to add alfredo sauce to cool it off and it didnt work. Very dissappointed, should have sent the meal back but i took it home and threw it away.
Two of us had the wedge salad and they were not good. They left the cores in the lettuce on both, the tomatoes were old at best and the dressing was weird, not blue cheese kind of tasteless.
We have several food sensitivities and allergies so figuring out what foods we can actually eat was challenging, despite the gluten-free and vegan options being marked on the menu. We explained this to our server who was polite and kind but did not give us any suggestions or guidance as to which menu items might work for us. My husbands steak and sides were good but my fish and sides were not seasoned well, or at all. I told the server and he brought me a replacement side. To also compensate he gave me a free to go dessert. When I got home and opened the container to view the carrot cake there was a sliver of metal shaving on top. I messaged the restaurant to let them know and I haven’t heard back (5 days past).
Waitress was great. Food average. Blackened Mahi very fishy and dirty rice too spicy. The old location was a much nicer ambiance.
I made a reservation 5 days ahead and we were put in the back by the kitchen - very noisy and plates dropped etc . Hard to talk to our friends
We invited two of our children and their significant others to dinner on Saturday night, to celebrate our son's graduation from college as well as his birthday. The experience was disappointing. The ambiance was nice and the location was convenient, but the service and food were both very poor. They burned one dinner, delivered the rest of the food, and left that person wondering what happened for more than 25 minutes with no communication. Wait times were extraordinary just for water. A simple dinner took over 2.5 hours, with terrible service and no FOH management.
