3 of us ordered filets and one came out that was cut very badly and was chewy. The manager came over and apologized and said she hadn’t ever seen one like that. She offered a free dessert but didn’t offer to remove the $40 we paid for the steak that we brought home for the dog. Not our normal experience but we expect more from a restaurant like that

For years at Stone Creek the ribs have been excellent - fall off the bone, "melt in your mouth ". Not tonight - difficult to separate from the bone, way overcooked. I hope this was a "one off".

Had to get up and ask for help after sitting there for 20 minutes. Had to take back the appetizer and my fish dish was extremely overcooked and dry. Not a very friendly or professional staff.

We tried the rack of ribs this visit and they were very tough to eat (overcooked). We chose a Sunday afternoon because we wanted to have a nice peaceful dinner without a large crowd..However, when we arrived as expected it wasn’t a lot of cars in the parking lot but they had everyone sitting in one area sitting right next to each other (how inconsiderate is that). We had a reservation and arrived early to the restaurant. The hostess asked us if we minded sitting in the bar. We said no we don’t want to sit in the bar. Then she tried to set us right in front of the kitchen so that during my dinner, I would be looking at the kitchen and hearing much noise. yeah we asked a server to see it somewhere else less noisy she did so. I ordered the filet, medium rare. It was red inside and black, burnt outside. I had to ask for A1 to choke it down. The waitress was two steps behind. In fairness, she was covering two banquet tables and us. We’ve been to all the Stone Creeks in Indy. This restaurant was physically superior, but the food and service here was not good relative to the others. Plainfield runs laps around last night.
