Sadly, we were disappointed with our dining experience at the new location. We were excited to eat here as we are at the one in Indian Hill in the Fall. At the new location, The food was average at best. Service was slow. Our table location was in the direct walkway of the outdoor patio and extremely disruptive with wait staff walking past us constantly, doors opening and closing and noise. prior to the new location, we've eaten at Stone Creek on numerous occasions. We will not be returning. The food was terrible, the service even worse. 3 of 4 our entrees were pastas. None were cooked nor eaten. The server didn't even notice. We waited 45 mins for the food and not even an apology. Terrible. Prices went up to pay for the new establishment, quality and service went down. Never again.
So we had a 10:15am reservation for Mother's Day Brunch. However, it was far from a Brunch and was very disappointing compared to what they use to offer on Mother's Day. The items available for Brunch included really no breakfast items and just their full regular menu which was not what we were expecting when they have a big sign about Mother's Day Brunch. The new location lacks ambiance. Sure, it’s nicely decorated, but it has the look and feel of a retirement home cafeteria. It is extremely loud and not conducive to a pleasant, intimate conversation. The food was mediocre. The service was great, but service alone is not enough to bring me back again. Huge disappointment.
Requested a table with a view of a television to watch the Derby. The request was ignored and they attempted to seat us in the worst table in the restaurant right by the kitchen entrance, with no view of any TV Screen. We order a nice cheese board. One quarter of the way through, our salads arrived. Salads were returned. When my wife’s fish special arrived, the fish was not special. It was cold on the inside. Extremely loud. Food fair. Walking back to the table from the restroom, 3 different staff members cut me off by walking in front of me. Don’t think I’ll return.
We had a great waitress. She had no support filling waters, clearing plates etc. there were 2-3 host that could of stepped up to help out. We had a bad meal and the manager was suppose to come over but never happened. The waitress gave a free dessert instead but our party was not going to order dessert. The sun is brutal through the windows which gets in your eyes. I like stone creek and will trey again but they need more staff.
Poor service, not enough help. Salmon was raw. Snapper was smelly and over cooked. Potatoes were cold.
