Appetizers, waitress, entrees were great but we waited 45 minutes for our entrees to be served which seemed excessive.

Food was average. Service was unprofessional. Restaurant table and glassware were dirty. Our table was next to a servers station which was noisy and disruptive. Current experience was significantly less than our past experience. We live in northern KY and were in the area and very much looked forward to another good experience which unfortunately was not the case. Will not be back.

My husband and I were quite disappointed in our first dining experience with Stone Creek. The ambiance was great but the food did not measure up. The red wine was served way too cold and never came to the correct drinking temperature in the time we were there. Not since the 1970s have I had a house salad at a supposedly upscale restaurant that used iceberg lettuce for their "mixed greens". The overall effect was a tasteless. Our experience was very poor from start to finish. Never brought any bread to us, left empty dishes and glasses on the table all night. Brought the wrong meal out for someone in our party. I won’t be going back.

I have eaten here many times and always enjoyed the food. However, my friend and I both had the miso salmon and it was so salty due to the soy sauce. Wasn’t really miso saucy and just seemed like plain soy with some green onions and tiny pieces of asparagus in it and something leafy. First time I was disappointed with it. Didn’t send it back and should have. My friend and I were so happy to see one another that we let it go. Usually food is spot on but not last night. Service was fine though.

A/C turned on low for the wait staff, arctic for the patrons. Should have brought a sweater. “Special” cab wine-by-the-glass was flat out cold, NOT room temperature. Wait staff always seemed to be in a hurry, more focused on turning tables. Not recommended.

We had three people for dinner. Had French onion soup. Panzetta salad, butternut Wellington, shrimp scampi, and one other non memorable dish. Shrimp scampi was good, the butternut wellington almost inedible. The Brussels sprouts in this dish were raw. All three of us ordered desserts. Cheesecake crème brûlée, carrot cake and bread pudding. Bread pudding was the winner here. A solid B.
We like stone creek but a few things were off this last time. We ordered calamari and it was pretty tasteless. We left half of it. The filet was excellent but mashed potatoes were very dry and not hot. The carrot cake was nothing special. The service was a little slow and we had to ask more than once for items because she was so busy handling other tables and a large party. She was very pleasant but overloaded.
