Just wasn’t great - kinda blah , the best part of the dinner was the appetizer
Our food was delicious, but our server was not knowledgeable about the food or drinks menu.
Waitress forgot to order several meals.
I usually enjoyed good to excellent pork chops at your former location; however, the pork chops served to me last Sunday evening were so tough that I could hardly cut them with the hunting knife you provided.
Parking was terrible for a 1 PM lunch on a Wednesday. Some parked across the street and said it was difficult to cross Montgomery Rd. Another, that did get a parking spot in the lot, knowing how difficult, tried to notify all of us to meet at DeShas instead and she would meet us there. Room is very noisy.
My wife and I found the restaurant to be very good with the exception of one our main dishes-we ordered snapper, which was disappointing- over cooked - very dry. We hinted at this when we spoke to our waitress and one of their floor supervisors. We expected they would take it back and try to redo the fish, but they ignored it. The new menu was very disappointing. We were looking forward to dining at the new location for the first time but our experience did not live up to past dining experiences at the old location. New twists on old menu favorites fell flat and many of the pairings seemed odd. Bring back the old variety of sides (lobster mac 'n cheese, loaded potato wedges, white cheddar au gratin potatoes) and allow diners to choose which two they would like. Unfriendly at front hostess station. Two times now.
The new restaurant location was several decibels quieter than the original, but still on the noisy side. We were advised to ask for the 100 section for less noise, so we could talk over dinner. I thought the tables, especially the banquet seating was closer together than I like. I don't want to hear my neighbor's conversation.
