The food was great, as always. The flavors were wonderful and the food was freshly prepared. We had a very bad experience with our Open Table reservation. When we arrived, the hostess said she would check on our table and get back to us. In the meantime, several parties arrived and were seated. I was very disappointed with this experience. I had dined many times in past at the Harrell Parkway location and always had an above-average experience so I expected the same at the Zionsville location. Our waiter was friendly but did not follow-up on our order very quickly. My companion had ordered pasta with chicken in it; the pasta came without but since we did not want to wait for a new order, he just ate it. We went for New Year's Eve so granted it was a busy time. We waited 20 minutes with a reservation. Service was a little slow and inattentive. My dinner was fine but the seafood grill was overcooked. The other few times we have gone have been good so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
We made a reservation at Stone Creek in Zionsville through OpenTable. When we arrived, we were placed at a table next to a large, noisy party. There were several open tables and we asked whether we could be moved to another table. One of our party had a hearing deficit and he would not be able to hear to talk. We were told that those tables were specifically reserved for others and we could not be moved. I have never experienced such a lack of customer service.
