Do not go to Subaru of Portland! They are a lying, sleazy dealership. I came in planning on purchasing a new car. For one, they played the "I have to talk to manager" game and made me wait over and over. Fine, I'll pretend it's 1992 and wait while you play your stupid game. The bigger problem was when they demanded my SSN before they would talk about price or anything, even though I made it 100% clear I would not be applying for financing with them. They lied and told me it was Subaru's policy and they had no choice. ... read more

Subaru of Portland owes my fiancé and I over $5,000 in refunded warranties that we’ve been waiting almost two months longer than the allotted “max 8 weeks.” The finance managers are completely unresponsive, do not return emails, dodge calls, and have no idea what is going on. Everyone is very “friendly” until they’ve taken your money. Incredibly shady business tactics in my experience, would not recommend this dealership. 0/10. I would name names, but they know who they are.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. My fiancé and I drove 4 hours to Portland to buy a 2021 STI as the previous Subaru dealership in Tri Cities undersold the car we had put $1,000 deposit on. They would not let us drive it off the show room floor which is understandable as their are dangers, so they had a tech drive it off. This person floored the gas out of the dealership doors fishtailing our brand new vehicle into the street hitting turbo when they vehicle was under 1k mileage. Went in for an oil change and the service department neglected to refill the oil. The engine was severely damaged after being driven without any oil. They agreed to replace the engine with a used one and included a one year warranty. 13 months elapsed and we find out that the engine is burning around 1qt/1000 miles. At this point we're out of warranty and the service center will do nothing about it, even though they installed a bad motor after destroying our original. I brought my subaru in for a recall service. I was told on the phone it was a quick fix and they could get me in that week. I came in to drop my car off and was told it could be up to three days until my car was done, and that they didn't have any loaner cars. So i was unexpectedly out of a car in the middle of the week.
