Took the car in for a passenger side air bag...(recall)...they cracked the dash and won't fix it..
Scheduled service more than 2 months in advance and was told that I could get a loaner vehicle since service would take more than 1 day. Show up for appointment on time and they tell me that there are no loaners available and that I could bring the car back tomorrow if I wanted one. Why did I schedule this in advance and they couldn't even call me to tell me there would be no loaners? They would not even give me a courtesy ride back home because it was too far away they said. I will never be coming back to this servic... read more
When I bought my car here 5 years ago, I felt like it was a reputable place. I now feel like they are very shady. They wouldn't given me a written estimate before starting work and acted like I was crazy for asking for one. That is how business is done: you 1. listen to customers 2. provide a written document that outlines both sides expectations
Got the airbag recall notice, called to make an appointment the next day. Showed up 5 minutes early for the appointment and was told that they'd just run out of airbags for my car 15 minutes before I arrived. This means that they didn't track their parts inventory AT ALL. They just kept using the parts in stock and... oops! They ran out. So I made a 2nd appointment to get this fixed and it was scheduled for tomorrow. Earlier today I confirmed, just like I'd did last time, and what do you know but I got a phone call a couple ... read more
My one and only time dealing with Subaru Of Portland was a disappointing personal experience for me. It started off by me inquiring on a used Subaru that was for sale. After careful research I discovered the asking price was higher than it was worth. Also, there was a major service that was due and turns out it was a very expensive service at that. I was hoping the dealer would understand my concerns. So I simply asked the sales associate I was dealing with if there was some room for a bit of discounted off the asking price.... read more
Not happy with the service at this location and will not be going back. I had an issue with my remote start and went for diagnostic. For $120 they ran the diagnostic and told me it was an issue with the attenae and it would cost $250. That was fine I asked for the part to be ordered and came back another day. After waiting 3.5 hours I called to ask how long till my car was ready. I was on hold for 13 minutes and when I talked to the technician was told that it was an issue with the module not the attenae and it would cost $7... read more

Subaru’s have a faulty engine design. The gaskets don’t seal the valves properly and you wind up blow a valve. Subaru is aware of the issue, it’s across the board on all models. I’ll never buy another one. Pooh Pooh on all Subaru.
