I went to Sylvias, after attempting to buy flower form one of the big online places Im not going to mention them besause they dont deserve the hyperlink it will produce. i was ordering Valentines flowers for my wife that were an okay price just 29.00 dollars by the time I checked out they were 67.00 dollars all fees and BS . so I stopped into SYLVIAS and showed them the picture off of the internet arrangement they dropped what they were doing and put togeteher one just like the one from the net ,but Better. they were SUPE... read more
Received this bouquet as a birthday surprise from family who now lives out of town. While the flowers were beautiful, the arrangement could have been better. Placed in a short squat vase that didn't really support them, the color choices of orange roses, yellow lilies and red carnations, as well as the multicolor glass vase and HBD ribbons gave the overall arrangement a definite circus or clown-like vibe vs a celebration. Does the business have good flowers? Yes. What I'm writing about is the fact that they do not accept Apple Pay which is a star off. Not only do they not accept Apple Pay, but whatever payment system they use is so antiquated that they still have to swipe the card and manually enter in the buyers address. As a privacy and information security professional, this method of tender is antiquated and susceptible to "man in the middle attacks" and hacking. I ordered roses for a wedding, only 25 of the fifty were usable as they were brown and flattened. I kept emailing and calling back and forth with staff but couldn't reach the manager. They offered me no refund. the situation caused a lot of stress on the day of the wedding, and the issue was not resolved to my satisfaction.
Come in for a wedding consultation with my cousin before Thanksgiving . We talk with one of the designers who's very knowledgeable about churches and wedding protocol. She show us some wonderful photos and show us some rental vase options and which style will work best for our wedding in September 2023 and what's the trend for 2023 . The consultations was fun . I hired Sylvia's to do the florals for my wedding after the venue that I was working with highly recommended them. During my intial meeting, I met with Kristina and she was wonderful! She talked through many options with me, provided her input and expertise, and gave me a very reasonable proposal, which I accepted. Beautiful arrangement but so strange that not one of the hydrangeas made it 12-24 hours. I've always had great product from Sylvia's, this won't change my purchasing from them but I may steer clear of hydrangeas a while.

Frustrated! Called to have a sympathy arrangement made for a friend. I shared the circumstances for placing this order. I asked three times if we could discuss flower types and colors and was told that is up to the designer! Then she asked if I wanted patriotic colors! Are you kidding!!! I told her I will be calling another florist, then hung up!

Flowers are pretty but I had two separate phone conversations with this store and both times the employees were extremely rude to me. Very uncalled for when I was just asking for information. When my family went to pick them up, they accidentally walked in the store, not realizing the flowers were supposed to be picked up outside, and the employees were also rude again and yelled at my family members. Unnecessary.
