We got there at noon for lunch and they gave us plastic glasses- they said they were out? Service was bad. Server put our order in wrong, she forgot to bring us items we asked for, and we had to hunt her down to get our check. The food was mediocre. My frise salad was limp, the sauce was lumpy and the egg overcooked.
Appetizer of tots came out ice cold - sent them back and never got replacement order. Son ordered a mixed drink and had to remind server to bring it. Food was average at best and service was below average.
Hostess was very rude and sat us in a weird seat seeming almost spiteful. We showed up to see if we could get seated knowing there would be a wait and intended to sit at the bar for a drink. Hostess had us make a reservation and wait 20 minutes only to seat us at a booth right in front of her work station that had been empty since before our arrival. There were other open places on the restaurant and I would assume that seat is typically empty because it is in such a weird location.
This is my second time being very disappointed with Ted’s Bulletin. My food came cold, they were out of materials for two cocktails, there were flies all around, and they seated us right near the bathroom. I don’t get the hype and after speaking to some other friends, they’ve had bad experiences too. Disappointing.
Very mediocre, overpriced breakfast. My eggs were cooked well, but the sausage had an unpleasant flavor, the hash-browns were raw on the inside, and the French Toast was very bland (just a sprinkle of powdered sugar....nothing else). This meal (two eggs, sausage, hash browns and two pieces of French Toast) was $15...ridiculous. Server was too busy flirting with other table where his friends were sitting. He didn’t even notice we weren’t given silverware or napkins. A different server brought us our food and silverware and took care of us. All the bad server did was take our order and bring us our check.
Food and drinks are mediocre, with little thought going into their preparation.
Server had to enter order into some handheld device, took ten times longer than just writing it down would have taken, causing home to mid details in our order — couldn’t keep listening. Then he disappeared, never refilled drinks.
I don't recommend going here if you are gluten free. They do identify several entrees that are gluten free. After ordering one, on top it was served with fried onion rings seemingly dipped in a flour batter. Also, it seems a minimal effort to have entree salads that are gluten free. The grilled salmon was apparently not gluten free. I understand things are prepared in the same kitchen but there is a difference if food actually contains gluten or does not.
