Food was tasteless, greasy, and put together sloppily. There was a hair on my boyfriends plate.
We were a little disappointed with the restaurant overall. We waited nearly 1 1/2 hours for our food to come out. The wait staff were very busy and basically neglected to put in our order. We barely saw our waiter and finally had to have the manager intervene. When our food arrived at least it was hot, but tasted mediocre at best. The crab cakes were underdone and the fried chicken with mash very salty. The manger comped us our drinks and gave us pop tarts to go, but not a great experience.
I hadn’t been to the restaurant for a few years and very disappointed: cold beef, stale fries and non attentive server.
The food is reliable here, but expect TERRIBLE service. We could not even get a water glass refilled the entire meal when the restaurant wasn’t even busy, and there were several similar problems. If you want decent service, sit at the front bar. Otherwise, you will wait in vain whenever you want a server. Our server only dropped by when we could persuade another server to send her over.
Poor service. This restaurant has declined in service all around.
What a disappointment! Dirty, poor service and the food was subpar.
Ted serves good comfort food if your idea of good is the buffet at Sizzler's. The chicken noodle soup was decent---lots of chicken but the mac'n'cheese and the "braised" green beans were real let downs. The mac'n'cheese was too powerful tasting and gloppy and the grean beans, well, they were cooked to a shade above mush. Real disappointment
Was looking forward to here for awhile. When friends came to visit I took them there for lunch. Made reservations and plans to meet them there. Friends arrived on time told staff the reservation was under my name and were seated. I arrived a few minutes later, only to be told that my party had not arrived. We had an early reservation and were seated in the far corner between parties with children. The child behind us was very loud and disruptive. When we asked the server to change our table she appeared miffed and reluctant to do so. Her first comment was that if she could arrange a different table she would not be our server. The restaurant was about 20 percent ful
