Been here many times over the years, but last night was a complete miss. Waiter was obviously overwhelmed with too many tables. Got two of our 4 orders wrong, and refills for drinks were pretty much non-existent. Cocktails were very basic.
service was slow and inattentive but friendly
The rudest server we encountered on our otherwise lovely trip to DC. Sorry we went to the trouble go going there. I understand that we all have days that are not so good, but she was surly, abrupt and messed up the order. It took the shine off our Sunday morning and spoiled our visit and experience of Ted's. To be fair the food was good - but we had better breakfasts with great service elsewhere, so I couldn't recommend it.
The service was super underwhelming unlike other days I've visited. The hosts were really rude and said something inappropriate referring to one of the parties...
The food was not good, service was average, made a reservation and still waited 10 minutes, and cost of food was to high. I was very disappointed with this establishment.
The hostess have rude characteristics. I change reservation from 3:45 til 4:00pm. My guest and I arrive at 4:00pm and I was told I have to wait about 5mins, while wiping the table without given a vibration device. After sitting over 20mins without the device there were customer arrival after with given a vibration device as as a 2party they put them in front as the device vibrate. We ordered 5 entrees and an appetizer. The loaded tots were over cooked. Out of the 5 entrees, 4 had a problem. One was warm, one was the wrong burger, one was missing the Mac n cheese that was suppose to be substituted out and the filet was bland and dry, and one didn’t arrive (kids buttered noodles) until after I had to ask the waitress and manager for. The server was kind and food itself tasted great, but so many issues. I asked for a Pinot Noir, a Pinot Grigio came. My husbands drink never came. I asked for dressing on the side for my salad, and my salad came dressed. My daughters kid Mac and Cheese didn’t come with our food (clearly they forgot to put in the order)… then when her Mac and Cheese did come, it came without her side of broccoli.
