I would give 0 if I could but let me tell you what happened on Christmas Eve. I was able to book a reservation for 3pm for 5 people. We got to Reston Town Center, it took a few minutes to get thru the intersections waiting for the pedestrians to cross, got a parking spot in front of Capital Burger and proceeded to walk down with my 88 yr old mother only to arrive to find the doors locked. No wonder why the reviews are rough here... service and food was horrible. We had reservation for 5 and they decided to tuck us in a 4 table top booth instead of giving us a table with an two seater extension. We are all on the normal /skinny side so it was very clear when we walked up we were going to fit. They eventually realized how silly it was and brought in a side table for us. This was the worse experience I have had in a restaurant in years. It kind of had a racist vibe. The server was less than mediocre as she kept apologizing for the way I was being treated. My food was ok,the server wasn't attentive to my needs as she was to the other people around me. She didn't offer me any extra syrup for a huge stack of pancakes. Me and my husband went today for brunch ar Reston location. I ordered Norway Benedict (smoked salmon) it comes with salad. Unfortunately our anniversary brunch did nit go well. I found a green worm crawling on my dish in my salad. We were refunded that entree but I endup throwing up. Bad experience. I will never ever go back.
Server was odd, didn't understand basic human communication. Paid $30 for a pot roast the size of a baby's fist, another $30 for Steak Frites that were completely room temperature. I live with zero regrets, this was my first. I regret nothing I said, good day.
Update - Ted's Bulletin asked me to reach out to them to rectify the situation, and 2 months later, have yet to respond to my outreach. Maybe other locations are better than the Reston one.

So I live right near the Town Center and have been here a number of times under different circumstances (breakfast, dinner, weekday, weekend, etc). Ultimately my experience today reiterated the review I'm giving today with some recommendations. First, the experience today which was the worst I've had. - Busy around noon, we could've waited 15 minutes for a table but they have 'dedicated service' at the window seats so we took seats there. I tried giving this place one more shot for breakfast...still terrible. The steak burrito had 5 pieces of steak. It was all hashbrowns and fake scrambled eggs. Wasted another $20 here.
