Honestly, I'm annoyed. I had much much higher hopes for my first time going here. 1st problem: I'm in a party of 2, we arrive, get to our table and my seat back is broken. Not a huge issue but it's worth noting considering the price I paid to eat here. 2nd problem: ordered a mimosa along with breakfast and what I was given is absolutely laughable. Man, I have such fond memories of Ted's Bulletin when I worked on Capitol Hill, so was surprised by how lackluster this Reston location was. Everything just seemed spotty during our brunch visit, which was a bummer because I know how good Ted's Bulletin can be! Located in Reston Town Center, we came here soon after it opened and the place was packed for brunch on a Saturday. Fortunately, for the three of us, we didn't have to wait long for a table. Location was decent. The food presentation was nice but the food is overpriced & bland... hubby & I could've went to IHOP for better food & service... The wine glasses were dirty when we received our mimosas & the second ones were still dirty as well. Do not recommend coming here.

Second try today for special evening dinner and drinks but this place failed us miserably. We had reservation, at the table even tap water didn't arrive 15 min after, we had to ask drinks menu then the simple bourbon cocktail drink took more than 30 min to arrive. Server seemed new so we were patient but kept saying in a few min or bar is busy etc. Then food order came wrong ...instead of beef stroganoff pasta and sandwich came. We came here at the request of my daughter visiting from Seattle, who had frequented Ted Bulletin when she worked at the Hill a few years ago. But she was used to the Ted Bulletin in DC. She likes everything Americana when in town so why not. What a big disappointment because the food did not live up to the hype. It was not good at all. The food was unremarkable. Ordered the loaded tots and they were edible, although the bacon was so crispy it bordered on being jerky. The pastrami sandwich was ok, and I received an entire head of unseasoned broccoli. But what was worse was the service. Our server was uninterested in paying attention to us. There were long periods when he completely ignored us and every time he left our table, he was sitting elsewhere in the restaurant on his phone. my 6 grievances: very dry when you don't it to be and very buttery when you don't want it to be. ted's burger, yuck! fries were the main course and the infinitely better than the burger. (yuck) girlfriend said to say the pancakes were good a side of unfrozen fruit was 6 dollars waitress was polite and helpful.

This place is terrible! I ordered the chicken fried steak (even asked the waitress how it was cause it's an iffy dish depending where you go). When the food came, I got the chicken fried chicken... so after a wait, the waitress came back and I said I ordered chicken fried steak and this is chicken.
