My husband and our friends came here for brunch and we waited 15-20 minutes despite having a reservation. Our server wasn't super welcoming nor nice either. I got the steak and eggs and the steak was pretty chewy and a bit overpriced for the quality overall. Our server also never refilled our drinks during the whole time we were there. I was disappointed since the Mosaic location never failed to disappoint me.
Third time is a charm. I will no longer support Ted's. Walked into Ted's on a beautiful Friday evening at 7:05 PM. I entered the bar where a couple was seated and there are about 15+ empty seats. I took a seat at the bar, looked at the bartender, gave a quick wave. She then spent the next 11 minutes counting receipts or some type of paperwork before she acknowledged me and took my order. I ordered a mixed drink and two appetizers (deviled eggs and five wings). The meal took 22 minutes to serve. I could not see the restauran... read more
Ironically, I walked in here to buy some breakfast food. Specifically the amazing fruit tarts, which are kind of like a PopTart and $24 for 6. I walked in a few minutes before 7PM and it was somewhat quiet inside. Three employees looked at me and no one greeted me, even the young lady returning to the host persons stand. A few minutes earlier a gentle man had to track someone down to tell them that he had reserved a 2-top online. The barista and bartender assisted him and conferred then pointed him towards a seat. ... read more
I'm giving them 2 stars because the food was good. I've come here many times the service has been quite good ,this particular time I had bad waitress service which I don't typically come across. It was a tall blond waitress didn't get us water till we asked for some. We ordered coffee and it was cold. I also ordered soup also cold. I didn't get my order taken till way after I had to stop her again. She got upset when I asked for hot Sauce. Horrible costumer service I was given the stink face the whole time . When it was time... read more
Honestly, I'm annoyed. I had much much higher hopes for my first time going here. 1st problem: I'm in a party of 2, we arrive, get to our table and my seat back is broken. Not a huge issue but it's worth noting considering the price I paid to eat here. 2nd problem: ordered a mimosa along with breakfast and what I was given is absolutely laughable. I'm a cocktail enthusiast, I order drinks everywhere, I make drinks at home for dinner parties with friends, I know what a proper mimosa is. This isn't it. What I received was a ... read more
Man, I have such fond memories of Ted's Bulletin when I worked on Capitol Hill, so was surprised by how lackluster this Reston location was. Everything just seemed spotty during our brunch visit, which was a bummer because I know how good Ted's Bulletin can be! Located in Reston Town Center, we came here soon after it opened and the place was packed for brunch on a Saturday. Fortunately, for the three of us, we didn't have to wait long for a table. But note that it gets busy for the brunch hour. I ordered the biscuits ... read more
Location was decent. The food presentation was nice but the food is overpriced & bland... hubby & I could've went to IHOP for better food & service... The wine glasses were dirty when we received our mimosas & the second ones were still dirty as well. Do not recommend coming here.
Second try today for special evening dinner and drinks but this place failed us miserably. We had reservation, at the table even tap water didn't arrive 15 min after, we had to ask drinks menu then the simple bourbon cocktail drink took more than 30 min to arrive. Server seemed new so we were patient but kept saying in a few min or bar is busy etc. Then food order came wrong ...instead of beef stroganoff pasta and sandwich came. We were again patient and didn't complain but when manager came with correct meal, it was pure bl... read more
We came here at the request of my daughter visiting from Seattle, who had frequented Ted Bulletin when she worked at the Hill a few years ago. But she was used to the Ted Bulletin in DC. She likes everything Americana when in town so why not. What a big disappointment because the food did not live up to the hype. It was not good at all. Place was busy because of its location, high end area of Nova and there was a convention at nearby hotel in the same location. I've dined in at the one in DC and had better food. The o... read more
