Awful service. We waited two weeks for our appointment and my husband took off of work early to take our puppy across town to Tender Touch. On the way, the receptionist called to cancel saying we were late. Then when he walked in with the puppy she smugly and condescendingly told him there was nothing she could do for him. There are so many vets in Denver, just find a better one.

Because we are often fully booked, we do ask our clients to reschedule if they are more than 15 minutes late so as not to impede upon our next scheduled appointment. Tender Touch could not fit me in when I called with an emergency with my dog.....I was in such a panic, as I knew timing was critical, and they sent me elsewhere. Until my most recent vet visit there, I was pretty happy with our previous visits and the care they had given my dog and recommended. I am unsure of what has changed, or if I don't see the right vet to get the best treatment, but you failed me, and my dog passed away at a completely unfamiliar place. Pretty unfortunate.
Overall I really have enjoyed my experience at Tender Touch Animal Hospital, but there have been a few significant things that have happened that moved my 5 Star Review to a 2 Star Review. We have been coming here for about a year since we got our puppy. We purchased the Plan for 12 months to cover her shots and the Spay. The only complaint that I have is that we had a recurring issue with her tummy and we brought her back multiple times to only receive the same diagnosis but spending lots of $$$. This place steals your money! They set up Influenza shots at our daycare and I paid for them. I could not make it to the second shot day at daycare and when I tried to take my dog in they said they could not honor it! This is BS, I have already paid for it! Perhaps have an alternate date set up if you refuse to do it at your office! I mean you have the records of the first shot, but no... let's steal people's money! I would NEVER take my dog there for care.... NEVER!!!!!!

I've heard great things about Tender Touch so I decided to use them for an emergency visit when my dog got injured. When I arrived at Tender Touch I explained to the technician that my dog has liver issues (she even wrote it down) and is on special food and medication for it. After giving this information to Tender Touch (Dr. Barnett) gave my dog Rimadyl for pain. My dog wasn't supposed to be on Rimadyl since Rimadyl does affect the liver. I have been going to Tender Touch for four years now. They always seemed to really care about my two pups who are now seven years old. They would always take great care. Recently though the last couple times I feel that the level of care, to them making money has changed a bit. My wife and I have recently added a now 8 month old husky to our family. Very sad experience today when I took my injured cat in and was completely ignored for 20 minutes. After watching your staff attend to people with dogs, I guess I understand you really don't care about cats at all. If this is how they treat PEOPLE, I'm glad to say you won't be touching my animal at all. Our dog had arthritis in his back legs which was getting progressively worse (he was 8 at the time). The Doc had checked him out and ended up prescribing him Rimadyl (or however you spell it). They said once a day for a week and then bring him back in for a check up. So we did and came back in the next week. Said he looked fine, gave us more Rimadyl, and said come back in a week. Be careful when you take your pets here! We used to take our dog to Tender Touch and when she tore her ACL, they gave us an anti inflammatory to help with her pain. Unfortunately, they mislabeled the bottle and accidentally directed us to give her twice the recommended dosage. This resulted in a battery of stomach issues that Tender Touch charged us thousands to diagnose and treat, but never fixed.
