I have been taking my two dogs to Tender Touch since moving to Denver from Boston in 2008. This is hands down the best vet experience we have had, and we have had many! We typically see Dr. Graf and she has always been so kind, attentive and loving towards both of my pups- she even sits on the floor and cuddles with them to make the experience a pleasant one. I recently moved out to Denver from Chicago with my chubby pup and was lucky enough to find this Vet!!! I am an overly protective mom of my dog and did a lot of research to find a place that had the best reputation. Tender Touch was thoughtful from start to finish, when I mentioned I would like to get an appointment as soon as possible, they were super accomodating. We took our then 4 year old mutt to Tender Touch for his yearly shots and check up as well as to have a mass that ended up being a hemagioma diagnosed and removed. The staff are are superbly friendly, informative, and competent. The Vets are great. They took the time to explain what they were doing, why and what our options were. No cons that I can think of.

I've tried several vets (from the MaxFund clinic to Wheatridge Animal Hospital) and Tender touch is the perfect blend of amazing veterinary professionals who actually just want to help you and your pet and don't want to milk you for every last penny in your pocket. I have a special needs (Addison's) dog who requires a shot every 6 weeks. A vet who shall remain nameless (rhymes with peatridge) wanted to charge me approximately 3xs what Tender Touch does. Tender Touch Animal Hospital has been nothing short of amazing to both me and my little puppy! They are so patient and kind, and very thorough. My puppy had some serious health issues early on and they answered all of my questions, along with going above and beyond to wait for me to come in and get some last minute medicine right as they were closing up for the day. I cannot thank them and recommend them enough!

My first visit went fine, but it was what I saw in the parking lot on my way out that told me a lot about this practice. Dr. Steele examined my cat, who has chronic diarrhea, patiently explained what the problem could be, my options for testing, and her recommendation. She was sensitive to various costs and took her time. She has subsequently responded at length to my emailed questions. I finished up and paid, and walked to the back parking lot. If your a pet owner, you know that your pet is your child and you would do anything for them, and I mean anything. My fellow Yelpers helped yet again to steer me in the right direction. This place is great. It feels like a family and yet still gives you all the bells and whistles of a corporate vet. My dog, Anja has been having some ear infections and I had to take her in yesterday to have the one looked at. Going to the vet is never easy, especially when you are making end-life decisions for one of your family members. The entire staff's love, care, attention and affection guided us through the long lives of our two girls. I am forever grateful to Tender Touch for supporting us in giving Maggie and Jasmine the best care possible. I recently adopted a dog who came from a difficult background and needed a lot of attention. The folks here were extremely helpful. I was worrying more than I needed to be but they definitely helped calm me down, and took good care of my dog.
