Pre-bday lunch with a cpl of friends. Food was ok. Service needs a little bit of work We decided to sit on the covered patio (we were the only ppl out there) since it had stop raining (inside was a little bit too cold). The inside was not crowded at all - maybe 2 or 3 tables were occupied. My wife and I had a terrific dining experience. The service was fun and prompt. The food amazing. The Rootbeer Short Rib was beyond expectations. Can't wait to go back!

We sat at the bar, but the softly lit dining room and outdoor patio (heated for winter) look lovely. Nice wine list with a good selection of lesser-known vintners.) My white Bordeaux was delicious. Could use more wines by the glass. Roasted Beet Medallions were excellent. Scallops were tasty, if a bit salty (why does everyone salt their scallops?), but portion was small for $18. First time eating here. Excellent food, service, wine list and price. Mussels were very good. Scallops with risotto, salmon and meatloaf memorable.

We enjoyed the experience and the wine list and bartenders knowledge of the wines was great. The food was good. The service was not up to par with what it needed to be. On two occasions our server walked by, once noticing our wine hadn't arrived and once our food, and he stopped and said "oh, you don't have your wine/food." Isn't he supposed to keep on top of that? Also, there were dishes on the table and someone who worked there said they would get a busser instead of just removing the one or two plates. The ambiance is gre... read more

My fish was very good, however, my husbands meatloaf dish was not very good. We had a very nice evening with friends and loved being OUTSIDE. We didn't like the ambience INSIDE very much. Our server was fantastic, very good and very friendly and personable!

The patio is a small oasis in the city, a quiet place to enjoy a glass of wine with good friends.

Always loved what David does with his personal service and welcoming smile and hand shake since the beginning. I have come here for years and years - in fact, the week the opened. He has done such a beautiful job with the back patio area that it transforms you to another place and time... The food is solid with new additions but the mainstays are still there for those of us that love them.... With some constant tweaking, they have maintained a Great Place to dine and enjoy!

We attended as a group. Very good service, great food and all lovely. Friendly staff. The Pate was fantastic. It seemed everyone enjoyed their meal.
