Was a poor experience overall. Very slow service for being seated (we had a reservation) to get drinks (20 + mins) and food (over an hour). Soup, lamb lollipops and Brussel sprouts were lukewarm in temperature. Only tasty item was the burger. Our waiter was friendly but he had a lot of tables. Have dined there before and had a better experience. Perhaps it was just an off night. Won’t be back anytime soon - disappointing.
We really wanted to enjoy this place because the interior vibe is nice. However, the food was quite disappointing and the service was lacking. The beet and burrata salad was OK but average. The salmon had an unpleasant odor, like too much char. The $46 fillet itself tasted nice but was served with insipid mashed potatoes and uninspired asparagus. Disappointing. We were there 2 weeks ago and everything was fine. Last night was interminable. We had a 7 PM reservation and were seated within 10 mins. Wait staff was new but friendly and earnest. Bread came after the salad but only when we had to ask for it. Inexperienced staff and understaffed. Our entrees came more than 90 mins after we were seated and were not properly cooked nor warm. Terrible service. Over an hour wait for the food. Heat lamps were too far from the table. The food was not great. Asked for salt and they brought a sugar shaker. They didn’t even have any pepper flakes. I would not recommend.
Management is running off the great servers, we went last week for the first time and it was great service was wonderful Sage was our waiter food was great, 12/23/23 made reservations for our daughters engagement and service was horrible sat at the table for 15 minutes no one came then I got up spoke with one of the managers he was nice he then had one of the other managers wait on us his attitude was horrible, when I made reservations I said it was a special occasion and there was nothing special about it . Understand and we are sorry to read. We have been shorthanded and this shortage greatly affected service that night. We have also are dealing with a turnover rate that has had us a bit off balance and running, We will try, train and educate and do much better if you consider a revisit.
My friend and I had to wait 30 minutes for someone to bring us menus and offer us coffee or drinks. We felt like we were a bother to the staff. No one checked on us during our meal and we had to get up to ask for the check and then again to give them our credit card. Very disappointed and won't be back any time soon!
We normally love dining here but last night the service was very slow. We were introducing this restaurant to a new couple and were very concerned that we weren’t greeted by any server for a full 30 minutes after being seated. We had to flag down the maitre d’ to ask when would we get a server. Not sure what was the problem but another server asked later on if we would like to see the dessert menu and we said we would like to have our food delivered first. It had been so long he thought we had finished eating! Disappointing!
The Maitre-d told us we'd have to wait 20 min. (and we had a reservation) I told him What's the use of having a reservation if we have to wait? He had a table open that we could see. So after a few minutes he took us over to the table and said "sit here"!! So RUDE!! The service was mediocre and my husband's "chicken" dish was inedible.
