I love this place and go a lot. They have next to no options for vegetarian/vegan dining and the food was mediocre at best. Not very busy, but service was less than adequate. Hoping this was a one-off experience because it really is a gem in the neighborhood.
Service was lacking and food is over-priced. Special was lobster tail and was very small. They forgot to bring my wine also
Average service and food. Nothing special. Was expecting something more elevated but the food does not match the fancy name :-(
Our waiter described the night's special as a shrimp dish but when delivered the meal was scallops, which I stated was not what I ordered or explained to us. The server left with our food. I then had to wave down our waiter and ask what I was to be served since no one had asked if I wanted anything else. The waiter kind of apologized saying they were preparing a shrimp dish for me. We had a res for 4 people but they sat us at a table that seats 8 and said they couldn’t move us.
This place was under construction(ceiling had insulation falling out, wood/materials in doorway and tables/chairs wirh plastic over them). I Was very disappointed to arrive and find the restaurant in the condition it is in. We did not eat here.
Inconsistent food —. Confit of Chicken very salty. Winter pasta dish overloaded with beets and not other veggies. More beets than pasta. Had to ask 5 times over 40 minute time span for a straw. Disappointing experience.
Business response:
Not a review we see often--but again, we are not perfect (as you apparently found out). We believe this was the result of an individual who is no longer with us--but still it is on us. We hope you will consider a return and see if we can't make a 100% improvement. It would certainly be our goal.
We arrived on time. We waited 10 minutes for our table. We waited 25 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and give us water. Even then it only happened because we stopped someone and asked if we actually had a waiter. Our dinner arrived at 2 hours after our reservation time. During our wait, we had to ask for bread, water and wine. Our waiter never spontaneously checked on us, only when we requested attention. The kitchen might have been slow but the service was atrocious. They were not understaffed.
Love the patio experience! Probably best for a glass of wine and an appetizer after work. Food was ok but for what we paid, we could have had a tastier and nicer dinner in Buckhead.
