Food was poor. Fat cat in Quincy is a lot better. The seafood pasta had processed scallops and the sauce was very watery. We also had the broiled seafood platter, it was not good at all. Overall very disappointed and we will Not be coming again.
As usual the food was very good what was very disappointing was the service. Our server actually seemed as though she would have rather been anywhere else and it showed. Two of the guests asked for more water, she brought one and had be asked several minutes later for water for my mother in law. Then when dessert arrived and was plopped on the table we were left with no silverware, so it was just easier for me to get up and grab some forks from the drawer under the computer than it was to try to find her and ask, so I did. The restaurant was filthy when we arrived at approx 8:15 pm. Numerous tables had not been cleared, staff was sitting around chatting, eating, etc. Floor hadn’t been cleaned since before dinner service clearly. Had to wait 5-10 min to be greeted by hostess even though the staff that were sitting around clearly saw us.
I honestly don't know why I bothered using OpenTable to make a reservation, as The Chateau wasn't set up for our party of 6 for my husband's birthday. When we arrived, we informed them that we had a reservation. They said no problem and took us to a table that was not set up for us. Why bother with a reservation? This has happened twice now using OpenTable.
Quality of the food was not great at all. I could've cooked the meal I ordered at home and it would've been better.
Forgot to season sauces Disappointingly bland
Basically the worst restaurant I have ever gone to. I did not eat my meal, the waitress didn’t even ask if I enjoyed my food (I guess for obvious reason). My husbands Alfredo was microwaved & the tomato sauce on the chicken Park was clearly tomato paste. The waitress wasn’t horrible, she had a large party so we didn’t get a second drink which happens I get it.
Awful service. Awful food. Ran out of bread. No substitution. Then brought bread to table next to us. Waitress had her hands in hair while serving food. No knowledge of menu. Brought wrong food twice and other waitresses had to come over to help us. Will never be back.
This place is right out of the 1950s, back when quantity counted more than quality and any actual flavor would send diners screaming into the streets in panic. The servers are hardworking and charming, but they are hardly enough to save this exercise in corporate tastelessness. Save your money and skip this joint.
