Celebrating my anniversary with my wife was a great experience at The Chef’s Table. Food was unique and flavorful without an alarming amount or salt. I loved the South African inspiration in the dishes. I was not expecting that. Petra was a fantastic person to facilitate our dining experience. Thanks Petra for helping us celebrate our first anniversary!
If I’m being completely honest this restaurant has been one of the best restaurants I’ve been to . The atmosphere is nice, not to quite and not to loud, the service was exceptional. And the food was great, everything that came out the kitchen was good. My wife and I recently visited Chef's Table in The Vintage for a delightful date night, and it was an exceptional experience. The atmosphere was intimate and charming, perfect for a romantic evening out. Our waiter, Julio, recommended the Merlot, which turned out to be an excellent choice, complementing our meals perfectly. Food and service was amazing tried the octopus as a starter based off reviews and my goodness was it bursting with flavor! Then had the lollipop chops which were fantastic! Overall service was amazing would love to come back again.
Had fried calamari, gumbo and naan to start and for entrees - sea bass, impala, filet and backyard braai with cheese potatoes. Enjoyed the backyard braai, gumbo and sea bass the most, was disappointed with the filet’s lack of tenderness.
