Our waitress today was Courtney and she provided excellent service and was very kind. She remade my blue Hawaiian drink because she wanted it to be perfect. As a former bartender, I value that experience immensely. When I went back inside because I forgot my to-go food, she was kind enough to give me a bag of ice to keep it cold on the way home. We (mainly my mother) are seasoned regulars at Chef's Table and would definitely want Courtney to wait on us again.

We went here for our wedding anniversary and Julio was assigned to our table. His service is excellent and impeccable. He gave us two complimentary passion fruit champagne for starters. I ordered the prawns and my husband ordered the 1 lb ribeye. We got the Sea Point promenade as appetizers. Julio gave us a revlon sauce to give more umph to the food. I only like to give reviews when I undoubtedly think it is totally worth it and I must say, this place is worth it. From the ambiance to the food, and the service. The chef is South African, so you have some South African inspired dish on the menu and believe me, everything I’ve tried taste’s so good. My husband and I LOVE The Chef's Table! We have a house in Spring and another out of state. The past 3 years, we've been more at the other house so end up eating here several times while we are in town. Chef Paul continues to add the most incredible new dishes to the menu! We tried most dishes and have loved them all! And dessert is a must! Highly recommend the flavors here!

Interesting and eclectic menu including some amazing South African wines. Having lived in Botswana and frequently traveled to South Africa it was very nostalgic having the Biltong (similar to American jerky) and Boerworst (South African style sausage). I ordered the Durban Chicken which was delicious and definitely represented the effect of Indian culture in South Africa with its curried rice.
