A little tired The property is a simply rundown. The rooms were clean, but the lobby is plain tired and dirty. Check in took 45 minutes, which even accounting for covid-era recovery seems like they could have creatively solved. The location was great for our weekend events.
It was a pleasant stay overall. I wish the shower head had good pressure. I still found old cups in a dirty corner of the room and the shower pressure was terrible. It also took a while for the water to heat up. The room was nice and bed comfy. The room had a great view of the Sears tower and it was quiet on my floor. There was plenty of toiletries.

Excellent location, nice hotel It’s an old hotel and rooms can use some upgrading, especially the bathroom. But overall it’s still a well maintained facility. The hotel is right on North Michigan Ave facing Grant Park and the lake shore. The hustle and bustle of Chicago is all within walking distance. Hotel rooms are old but reasonably comfortable, and staff was friendly and helpful.
