2/5 stars, would not stay again but it was a place to sleep for the eras tour Our toilet did not flush, the beds were hard, found several hairs in the bed. electrical outlets were unsafe and plugs fell out of all of them except the one on the lamp, all the ones on the wall were too old Great location. Horrible. They were vastly unprepared for the amount of check-ins for the weekends event. We waited for 2 hours in a line that wrapped around the building. There was no staff updating us, tell us how long the wait was. When we called to ask how early we could start check in, because it was Taylor Swift in Chicago I knew it was going to be bad, they said 3pm. The bar staff was slow. Would not stay again. We came for the third night of the Taylor Swift tour and it took us two hours to be able to check in the hotel which in turn made us late to the concert. There was no warning about the amount of people they’d have to check in or how long it might take and it doesn’t seem like they took the necessary precautions to ensure the process could go as smooth as possible. Fair Restaurant service horrible at lunch and checking in was a NIGHTMARE. We did get adjoining rooms after we were adamant we needed one for our children. But were told many times no….then yes then no. Loved the view and proximity to sight, Grant park. Soldier Field
dirty rooms, nice bar, terrible checkin, nice staff the room had chipped tiles, dirty bathroom, things put together with hot glue, whoever painted painted over sockets, floor musty, the check in took over three hours missing most of my concert, if you waited in line and got up an it wasn’t ready you had to wait in line alllllll over again. everyone booked so far in advance like over 6 months and they didn’t prepare at all for it that it was close to soldier field an other amazing places
Disappointing The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Chips in the paint, tile coming off the floor, trim was all cracked. Bathroom was just so gross. Waited over 1.5 hours to check in at 3PM.
