Good enough for what we came to town to do. We were in the “tower” , which was rundown. I would compare it to a rental property that is painted over for the next renter. The bed felt like a box spring with a thin padding. Location is excellent. Easy to find, in the heart of Grant Park.
WORST hotel I’ve been at in Chicago! This is possibly one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The exterior appearance and location are great! It attracts everyone for this matter but when one truly stays a couple nights many negative things are evident. Our first night was peaceful until our A/C started screaming…I kid you not SCREAMING at 4:49am and would not shut up after that. Could've been cleaner, was fine for a one night stay somewhere in walking distance to Soldier Field Room smelled strongly of weed, room had definitely been given the 'landlord' special to make things look more updated. The deadbolt on our door didn't work, which was concerning for two younger girls staying in a room alone. Most facilities were in desperate need of an update, since it made the entire atmosphere feel less clean. Worked well for a night where we didn't spend much time in the room. it was okay it took 30 minutes to get a beverage while sitting in the bar. there were 8 people sitting at the bar & my husband stood at the bar for 30 minutes to get a soda. the location
This hotel needs updating with insulation & new windows to block out street noise from Michigan The room was very warm. There was no air conditioning blowing most of the night & the street noise was horrible. It felt like the cars on Michigan Ave. were right outside our door even though we were on the 5th floor. We would not have booked this hotel if it said it was not are conditioned. We arrived around 8 pm & thought it would cool off but there was no air movement. Disappointing Hotellet är i stort behov av en grundlig renovering. Man känner sig något otrygg på hotellet. Jättebra läge i centrala Chicago. Stort och rymligt rum.
I love the location but the bed and shower have been not great both times I have stayed. Parking. The bed was hard as a rock. The water pressure on the shower is barely enough to shower. it’s close to everything in the Loop.
